In August of 2025 I visited New Mexico. It was my first trip to the Land of Enchantment, I hope it will not be my last. This post talks about and shows images of Valles Caldera National Preserve and Bandelier National Monument. Both of these incredible locations are close to Los Alamos, New Mexico and not far from Santa Fe.

This is my second of two posts about the trip I took to New Mexico in August of 2025. This post talks about and shows images of El Santuario de Chimayo, Taos, Taos Pueblo, Rio Grande Canyon Bridge, and the Enchanted Circle Scenic Byway. 

Great Falls Park on the Potomac River, just west of Washington, DC, features a series of rocky cascading waterfalls, a diversity of flora and fauna, abundant trails and white water. The park, which is part of the National Park System, is a fantastic urban escape and place to connect with nature. Rich in history the park and the Potomac are a great place to visit when in the Washington, DC region.

A collection of Hawaiian images revisited. Photos from Oahu, Maui and the Big Island. Featuring wildlife, beaches, flowers, off shore islands, mountains, diamond head, trees,, sunsets and sunrises. Many of these images have not been shared elsewhere. I hope you enjoy looking at them.

I'm starting a new tradition, a year in review blog post. I hope this becomes a dynamic exercise that evolves over the course of time. This year I did not have a lot of opportunity for photography. While 2024 was not a great year for me in terms of capturing new images, I am excited about a few of the images I took and have made available as prints. I was able to travel to Mount Rainier National Park and The Outer Banks where I took some images I like. In addition, I captured the northern lights in Maryland. I spent time in 2024 redoing this website using Shopify as the backend so was able to learn this new system. While slow going this website transition has been a fun project.
